Kate exhibits her work at Wagon Yard Artists in Marlborough, Wiltshire. Originally from the Kent coast, she moved to Wiltshire in 2003, and has been inspired by the local countryside ever since.

Working in both watercolours and acrylics, Kate uses similar layering and glazing techniques in each medium to achieve the effects she wants. She studied textile design after leaving school and during this time developed the draughtsmanship and use of colour that she draws on today for her work. Experimentation with materials and techniques is important to Kate, and she takes every opportunity to develop new skills and ideas.
